As we acknowledge the beauty and challenges of breastfeeding, we must also recognize the inequities that exist. Too many Black, Indigenous, and other parents of color face systemic barriers to breastfeeding support, resources, and culturally informed care.
Every parent deserves access to the information, healthcare, and community support they need to make the best choices for themselves and their babies.
